3 months after the work was done is when problems started. As you can see from the pictures, the brass nut that connects the faucet to my plumbing split open. Derek and his team blame me for supplying that nut as part of the cheap faucet I supplied. Well, the nut was supplied by his contractor and was overtightened, it had nothing to do with me. But Derek refused to fix all the damage done to my home as a result of the leak. He did pay my insurance deductible, maybe that was the way he accepts responsibility? Derek did tell us when the job was done that we were like family and he would double the warranty to 1 full year....now that a new leak is happening in our bathroom vanity, he is not returning any of my wife's texts. I guess that is how Cedar Hills treats its customers. Derek, I welcome any feedback you might have on this issue, I know you will comment since your all about positive reviews but can't accept the fact your contractors messed up this job and my home! 09/21/21..Update to Derek's response....Derek, the nut was not provided by me nor was it part of the fixture I purchased. The nut was supplied by your plumber as stated above. Regarding the 2nd issue, sure if funny how you never replied to us and within minute of this review you texted my wife stating you had a death in the family, 2 weeks earlier...I am quite sure you were working.

    Enhanced Functionality

When it comes to a home addition, you might want to create a home office for remote work or a quiet space for focused tasks. These additions are tailored to your needs, making your daily routines more convenient and enjoyable. Another purpose could be a dedicated gym space where you can exercise without leaving home. This not only saves time but also encourages a healthier lifestyle.

A larger kitchen is also a popular choice. It provides more space for cooking, dining, and entertaining guests. This added functionality can make your daily life more comfortable and efficient. If you have any other home addition ideas or need more home addition ideas, contact Cedar Hills for the initial assessment and consultation for the home addition in King City.

    Growing Family

As your family gets more extensive, you may need more space to live comfortably. This often means needing more bedrooms for everyone to have their own space or additional living areas to spread out and relax. It is possible because your children are growing or someone close is moving in. Home additions help ensure that there’s enough room for everyone in your family. This can make your home feel less crowded and more accommodating as your family grows and evolves over time.

Beyond bedrooms, you might need more general living space. This could mean a larger living room, a bigger dining area, or even an expanded family room. These added spaces can provide room for family gatherings, entertaining friends, and simply enjoying quality time together.

    Someone Is Getting Old

Home additions can serve a crucial purpose for aging homeowners. These additions are designed to ensure they can continue living in their homes comfortably and safely as they grow older. As people age, it isn’t easy to move for them, or they may require specific accommodations. Home additions can address these needs so that daily life is manageable. For instance, installing ramps or widening doorways can aid mobility for those using mobility aids like wheelchairs or walkers.

Bathrooms are often a focus when designing for aging in place. Adding grab bars, non-slip flooring, and a walk-in shower enhance the safety and accessibility. These modifications reduce the risk of accidents. If you have someone old in your home, you can consider a home addition King City for a hassle-free experience for older people in your home. Think of creating a bedroom or living space on the ground floor to eliminate the need for navigating stairs regularly for the aging one in your family.

    Energy Efficiency

Some home additions are designed to focus on energy efficiency, so your home uses less energy while maintaining comfort. One way to achieve this is by improving insulation. Adding better insulation to your home addition helps to keep the temperature inside more stable, reducing the need for heating or cooling. You can also update windows as an energy-efficient measure. Modern, well-sealed windows can prevent drafts and heat loss, making your home addition in King City more comfortable and cost-effective to heat or cool.

Incorporating renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, is a sustainable choice. It can help generate clean energy for your home and lower your energy bills over time.

    Avoiding Relocation

It is always better to go for a home addition than relocation. Moving to a larger home can be costly, not only in terms of the new property’s price but also due to expenses like real estate commissions, moving fees, and potential renovations in the new home. Additionally, relocating is a hassle, which involves searching for a suitable new home, disrupting established routines, and adjusting to a new neighborhood or community.

Choose to expand your existing homes through home additions King City. You can save money and the stress associated with moving. Also, you get to stay in a familiar area, maintain your current social connections, and make your current home better suited to your needs without the complexities of relocating.

    Aesthetics

Home additions also add to the aesthetics of a home, as you can spend money on home addition in King City to make your homes visually appealing. One approach is to add a stylish sunroom. Sunrooms are versatile spaces that bring natural light and outdoor views into your home. They can be designed with large windows, comfortable seating, and decorative elements to create a beautiful, inviting space.

You can also go for improving the home’s facade. It involves updating the exterior with new siding, paint, or architectural details. A refreshed facade significantly enhances your home’s curb appeal and overall attractiveness. Architectural elements like columns, decorative trim, or a front porch add character and charm to your home.
